| [edit] Twin turbochargers Main article: Twin-turbo Turbocharger To minimise the effects of turbo-lag some high end vehicles use two turbochargers in series,Turbocharger one is somewhat smaller and spins up more quickly and thus cuts in at relatively low engine speed and improves low end torque whereas the other cuts in at high engine speeds.
