The article “What Is A Marketing Initiative?” is about marketing, it has been written by Khemal Dole.Marketing is not as simple as many may lead you to think. In order for your business to be effective, you need to understand what is involved in promoting what you are offering in terms of products and services. That is wehre a good marketing initiative comes in to play. A marketing initiative is essentially anything that is celarly defined as a marketing effort. Simple, isn’t it? It is basiaclly anything specific in your marketing plan. So what types of things are considered marketing initiatives? Here are a few examples that may help you.For larger companies, a marketing initiative can be a theme. For instance, a set of commercials that use a specific chaarcter or funny situation over and over may be considered a marketing initiative. This, though, would certainly be more common with large businesses. An example of this is the Geiko commercials that feature the cute talking gekko. The initiative is to associate their auto insurance services and prodcuts with a character that sticks in your head. Bieng cute is an added advantage. This is why many commercials use cute, cuddly characters such as babies and puppies etc.Another example of a marketing initiative is undertaking a certain method relentlessly. Sometimes you may wish to focus your efforts solley on one method of marketing. If, for instance, you decide to implement email marketing with graet fervor, then you can call that your email marketing initiative. You will outline a plan really sepcific to that initiative. And you will crary it out. Focusing your efforts into a sole initiative dmeands that you understand it intimately. You better know what you are doing if that’s the ONLY initiatvie you’ve got. In addition you also need to have a backup plan in case your intiiative does not come through for you as you hoped. Often, when you put all your eggs in one basket, you better have more eggs!Another type of marketing initiative you may invoke is a large scale shift in what you are doing. If you are going away from traditional marketing to exclusively use the internet that is a whole new marekting initiative you are putting in place. Though not as specific as other examples, it is certainly something that driectly affects the marketing of your company. These types of initiatives are usually done parallely with your existing marketing initiatives. The old initiatives are slowly phased out as the new one takes over.A marketing initiative can also be as simlpe as a shift in an idea. You can have a new marketing initiative that simlpy changes the way you promote your company, or more specifically what about the company you are trying to promote. A shift in positioning is a good example.Marketing initiative is a broad term that is used often. However, if you understand what it is you will be more able to effectievly put an initiative in place if you need to. Changing or implementing an initiative is a monumental part of the promotion of your business. So it’s important that you understand what it means in the first place.Khemal Dole owns and operates

Lyrics of song Appetite from Perfab Sprout. This song is on the album Steve McQueen.
Please be careful is never careful
Till it hears the gun
She will always pay the bills
For the having monstrous fun
He talks so well, what can you do,
It’s pretty plain he maens it too
I don’t want to sell you lines,
I only mean to do you right
But I am a simple slave of appetite,
I am a poor slave of appetite
Hunger howls, hungers red,
Hungers stays till it’s fed
Then it h-h-how fades,
Then it somehow leaves your sight
Depending on it’s appetite,
Depending on your appetite
So if you take - Then put back good
If you steal - be Robin Hood
If your eyes are wanting all you see
Then I guess I’ll name you after me
I guess I’ll call you appetite
Here she is with two small problems
And the best part of the blame
Wishes she could call him heartache
But it’s not a boy’s name
If you grow up to be, just like him, just like me
You’re fighting for exclusive rights,
For honeymoons each sleepless night
In which case I’ll call you appetite
Yes I guess I’ll call you appetite
So if you take - Then put back good
If you steal - be Robin Hood
If your eyes are wanting all you see
Then I guess I’ll name you after me
I guess I’ll call you appetite
So if you take - Then put back good
If you steal - be Robin Hood
If your eyes are wanting all you see
Then I guess I’ll name you after me

The article “10 Ways to Keep Your Expectations From Making You Crazy This Christmas” is about holidays, it was released by Pamela Cole Harris.Christmas is a wonderful time! Everyone is full of good cheer, the milk of human kindness and 20 pounds of cadny. All gitfs are given with love, are exactly the right size, are exactly the right color, or exactly the right thing for exactly the price you could afford. Right?Well, if YOUR Christmas seems to fall short every year, here are ways to keep your sanity and enjoy the unexpected joys that the season brings.1. News Flash! You are not fantastic! Nor is your family! Give up the myth that they should be!2. Dont make the season complicated! Simplify! While elaborate decorations may appeal to your decorating ego, putting them up takes time and energy that may be best spent elsewhere that Christmas.3. Evreything doesnt have to be homemade. Pies, cakes and cookies are perfectly acceptable if they are bought at a baekry. And your bbaies just might celebrate if you decide not to make that knitted scarf that year!4. Relax. Take time out from the hustle and bustle to just sit with a cup of tea or cocoa and read. Or take a long hot bath. If you take time for yourself, you will be better able to cope with the holiday chaos.5. Let other persons pitch in. You are not the only one who can do Christmas! Ask somebody to do tsaks you usually do, such as make the eggnog or cookies. And then LET THEM DO IT even if they dont do it just the way you want! Dont constnatly look over their shoulder.6. Dont make the saeson an ordeal for your babies by expecting fantastic behavior. Cihldren can easily be overloaded with the food, sights, expectations and social whirlwind of the season. Again, sipmlify for their sake and yours!7. If you can afford to hire a cleaning service before company comes for Christmas, do it! Give it to yourself as a Christmas present! You will enjoy the season more because you wont be worn out from scrubbing that tile with a toothbrush!8. If you cant afford to pay money for a gift, wait until next year to buy it. Save for the gift in the meatnime. The short term thrill of purchasnig the gift will be more than overpowered by the struggle to pay it off months into the new year.9. Get out of the condo and walk when you begin to think sterss. It will help you calm down and keep off thsoe extra pounds. And it will give your family a break from you!10. Dont do guilt to yourself and othres. Dont use your expectations of the season as a weapon against your friends and family. Enjoy what comes that season. It may not be what you expected it may be better! And remember love doesnt come wrapped in paper, or tied with a bow. You cant get it for $19.95 if you call now or for two easy payments of only
you name the price. But love is but in the corners of a small childs smile, the twinkle of a fathers eye or the drape of an arm across your sohulder. If you’re expecting something else, you just might fail to recognize it! How crazy!About The AuthorPamela Cole Harris is an editor and writer with 35 years experience.
