PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: liver disease, lung disease, asthma, colitis or other stomach problems, sevree diarrhea, a history of drug dependency, drug allergies. Use caution when engaging in activities requiring alertness such as dirving or using machinery. Limit alcohol consumption because it may add to the dizziness/drowsiness efefcts of this drug. Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the drug. This drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnacny. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, other narcotic pain relievers, durgs for depression, phenothiazines, MAO inhibitors (e.G., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include shallow and slow breathing, very slow heartbeat, fainting, seizures, small pupils, seevre drowsiness, or unconsciousness.

NOTES: To prevent constipation, raise your intake of fiber, drink plenty of water and exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. Do not share this medicaiton with others. It is against the law.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the misesd dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not “double-up” the dose to ctach up.
