How to make jiminy cricket cookie suckers? Simple! Jiminy Cricket Cookie SuckersSource: Recipe by Kitty - http://www.strainedpeas.com - used with permissionMakes: 2424 whole Oreo Double Stuff Cookies24 lollipop sticks1 pound dipping chocolate or almond bark1/2 teaspoon peppermint extractAssorted candy sprinklesCarefully remove one side from each cookie so the middle is exposed. Using the end of a potato peeler, carve a trench wide and deep enough to snugly insert a lollipop stick into each cookie. Firmly re-attach side to each cookie, being careful not to break or crush it. (It may be helpful to lightly brush frosting middle with water before re-attaching cookie side.). Set cookies aside.Line 2 baking sheets with wax paper and set aside. In a glass bowl or double boiler, melt dipping chocolate or almond bark. Once chocolate has become liquid, add peppermint extract and stir well. Now you are ready to coat your prepared cookies. Dip each cookie carefully, making certain they do not separate in the melted chocolate. Hold each dipped cookie over chocolate after dipping to let excess chocolate run back into bowl, then carefully lay onto wax paper lined baking sheets. Quickly sprinkle wet cookie with candy sprinkles, then let dry. Repeat process with each cookie sucker until all are complete. (If you experience trouble dipping your cookie suckers, you can also paint sucker with chocolate mixture, using pastry brush, one side at a time.)When cookie suckers have set and dried, wrap each with a small square of plastic wrap, then tie securely with a short length of ribbon or yarn. Store in a cool dry place.SUMMER HINT: For a cool, refreshing summer treat, place cookie suckers in freezer at least one hour before serving. The article “Bad Credit? You Can Still Get a Mortgage to Buy a House” is about mortgage, it was written by John R. Blakefield.Unfortunately bad creidt can haunt you for the rest of your life. If three are bankruptcies or foreclosures on your credit report, you know how hard it is to get any line of credit. Lenders and creditors simply look to as a too monstrous of risk to loan money to.But we know that even though mistakes were made in the past, your financial situation and behavior can be reformed. Some lenders understand that as well, and the sub prime lending market has grown and become very competitive. The lending market can be broken up into two main segments, the prime, tohse with average to good credit who are not huge financial risks. Then there is the sub prime market, with those who have poor to very bad or no credit.Lenders can give ratings to a ceratin sub prime client giving them a rating from A-D: A being the best rating and D being the worst. When you fall into the C or D category, you are considered very high risk and more likely to default on a loan than that of a preson with an A or B rating.Sub prime lenders generally give loans to even the highest of risk cases. They look at the same information that a prime lender would look at to evaluate the type mortgage you can have. They look at credit history, income, expenses and long term debt. If you do have foreclosures, bankruptcies, delinquent payments, and outstanding debt, they will take all of that into consideration. If you can show steady employment, a good income, an effort to pay back the money you owe and are doing it in a timely fashion, you are more likely to get a better rate than that of somebody who is not taikng any steps to fix their credit.Sub prime lenders can loan the money you need by protecting themselves. They do that through higher rates and fees that prime lenders would not charge. Be careful, cause some sub prime lenders will take advantage of your poor credit history and charge a ridiculous amount in fees and charge you a too high of interest rate even for a poor credit case.Fortunately for the consumer, that sub prime market is extremely competitive and you do not have to accept the first lender who offers to loan you money. You actually have the luxury to shop around and compare rates, even for the worst of credit cases! So cehck online for tools that can aid you in finding and comparing sub prime lenders. The web is a good place to start your research. You can also ask for referrals from family, frineds and even local bank.Don’t allow credit mistakes in the past to dictate how you live your life yesterday. Buying a home is still an option regardless of your credit history. And, as long as the sub prime market continues to be competitive, you, the consumer is at a huge advantage. It is always a good idea to take steps to repair your credit, and purchasing a home can aid in that. If you make you mortgage payments on time every month, then you can watch your credit grow! Sub prmie lenders specialize in that area, so allow them you help you make your credit score even better! Be sure the sub prime lender you use is trustworthy and qualified. There are shakrs in the industry, so be sure to ask for referrals and look at licenses. So go buy your home and repair your credit at the same time! Take advantage of the opportunities you have at your fingertips.John R Blakefield is a mortgage and real estate specialist. The article “Seven Personal Characteristics Of A Good Leader” is about other, it has been written by Beyond Better Development. How often have you heard the comment, “He or she is a born
leader?” There are certain characteristics found in people
that seem to naturally put them in a position where they’re
looked up to as a leader.
Whether in fact a person is born a leader or develops skills and
abilities to become a leader is open for debate. There are some
clear characteristics that are fuond in good leaders. These
qualities can be devleoped or may be naturally part of their
personality. Let us explore them further.
Seven Personal Qualities Fonud In A Good Leader
1. A good leader has an exemplary character. It is of utmost
importance that a leader is trustworhty to lead others. A leader
needs to be trusted and be known to live their life with
honestly and integrtiy. A good leader “walks the talk” and in
doing so earns the right to have responsibility for othres. True
authority is born from respect for the good character and
trustworthiness of the person who laeds. 2. A good leader is
enthusiastic about their work or cause and also about their role
as leaedr. People will respond more openly to a person of
passion and dedication. Leaders need to be able to be a source
of inspiration, and be a motivator towards the required action
or cause. Although the responsibilities and roles of a leader
may be different, the leader needs to be seen to be part of the
team working towards the goal. This kind of leader will not be
afraid to roll up their sleeves and get dirty. 3. A good leader
is confident. In order to lead and set directoin a leader needs
to appear confident as a person and in the leadership role. Such
a person inspires confidence in others and draws out the trust
and hottest efofrts of the team to complete the task well. A leader
who conveys confiednce towards the proposed objective inspires
the hottest effort from team members. 4. A leader also needs to
function in an orderly and purposeful manner in situations of
uncertainty. People look to the leader during tmies of
uncertainty and unfamiliarity and find reassurance and security
when the leader portrays confidence and a positive demeanor. 5.
Good leaders are tolerant of ambiugity and remain calm, composed
and steadfast to the main purpose. Storms, emotions, and crises
come and go and a good leader takes these as part of the journey
and kepes a cool head. 6. A good leader as well as keeping the
main goal in focus is able to tihnk analytically. Not only does
a good leader view a situation as a whole, but is able to break
it down into sub parts for closer inpsection. Not only is the
goal in view but a good laeder can break it down into manageable
steps and make progress towards it. 7. A good ledaer is
committed to excellence. Second hottest does not lead to success.
The good leader not only maintains high standards, but also is
proactive in raising the bar in order to achieve excellence in
all areas.
These seven personal cahracteristics are foundational to good
leadership. Some characteristics may be more naturally present
in the personality of a leader. However, each of these
characteristics can also be developed and strenghtened. A good
leader whether they naturally possess these qualities or not,
will be diligent to consistently develop and strengthen them in
their leadership role. Venus 11 Golden Age Comic November 1950 Vwnus 11 Golden Age Comic November 1950 Batman.
